Driveway
Sealcoating:
Power-Edging
the perimeter
of the area will be power edged to remove turf and soil that may be embedded in the asphalt. This first step is critical to
insure that all areas of the asphalt are protected. Inadequate protection of the edges will insure future cracks and asphalt
failure. This is preformed with an edger and shovel not a string trimmer!
Cleaning the driveway We use a combination of walk behind blowers and hard bristled
street brooms to clean the driveway. The walk behind blower extracts dirt from the pours of the pavement and blows it off
the driveway. The hard bristled street brooms are used in areas with silt deposits and heavily embedded areas of dirt and
grime.
Inspect for Cracks Cracks 1/8 inch or wider will require filling to prevent further damage. A crackfiller/leveling
patch will be applied. Larger cracks will require hot rubberized filler. An extra charge will be added for this service and
outlined on your proposal.
Apply Sealer by Brush once the prep work has been completed, we pour
the sealer directly onto the driveway and use medium bristled brooms specially designed to spread sealer. This ensures a uniform
and professional finish.
Provide Driveway
Blockade When
all work is completed, the area will be barricaded with fluorescent tape to ensure no accidental traffic. Depending on weather
conditions, the tape can usually be removed with in 36-48 hrs.
